The opportunities for student feedback and improvement are great. The campus locations aren't ideal, as they are quite a fair distance from the city centre, and the buses aren't always reliable. However, the lectures are comprehensive and challenging, and there is a good support system for students within the university.

You get a lot of opportunities to speak to your academic tutor and get help with any issues you're having, whether these be academic or personal. The course is varied and challenging, but lecturers are clear and are more than happy to clarify anything during office hours or at the end of the lecture where possible.

The University are very eager to make the halls a safe space, and they are extremely convenient as they're so close to lectures. However, given its a campus university, they're a long way out of the city centre, so if going out is your thing, then maybe staying in somewhere like Seren might be better suited. The facilities are good, but the halls aren't cheap.

Lectures are always willing to help! They don’t mind at all what you contact them about and will genuinely try their best to help you and support you. Lectures like to engage with students in class to help everyone, like explaining content in the a different way to help students.

Penmaen was an amazing accommodation with en-suite rooms! The beds are all single beds. You room comes with - desk chair - bin - mattress - bed - Desk - En-suite bathroom - fob access to building, stairs/lift, floor, flat and room so very well protected - maintenance team on hand to come and sort out any issues not matter how big or small - GP located directly outside so easy to get an appointment and pop down for it - short walk to lectures, on campus shops, post collection, doctors, student life and bus stops on campus as well - single park is right next door
