Good space in halls

The location is safe and feels like home away from home - it is always very clean as we have cleaners in our accommodation who are lovely, the outside is always clean too, no rubbish etc. The night life is very quiet on campus but Kingston is very close and has a great club and night life and easy to get to and from and it is also cheap for London. The SU on site is great prices but it is never very busy and vibes are low but Kingston is great so doesn't really matter, The only thing I find is that due to it being such a nice part of London it is quite far away from everything - it takes like an hour to get into central or St Pancreas, so doesn't really feel like London but that I do like as it feels really safe. We dont have tube station so everything takes longer and the station has trains only every half an hour or something but again it is not bad once you get used to the timetable and out of the every 30 second London train mindset. The train journeys are really cheap so it doesn't matter too much and also strawberry hill station is only like 6 min walk away so is really accessible and Twickenham and Teddington main town is only 10 ish minute walk away!

The lecture rooms are so nice honestly so new and clean etc. so that makes the facilities nice to learn in. I only have 9 hours of contact time so it's not a lot but to be honest there is so much reading and extra stuff to do I dont really realise and that is why I like this course . 2 hours of practical every week make the course more engaging and easier to apply what we are taught, The lecturers treat us more like friends than students and they are very easily contacted to ask for advice and never have a problem with giving advice or even a zoom meeting if you need extra help. The worst part could honestly be that there is SO much reading to do and we dont get a reading week, but with all the extra time even the worst part is not too bad!n

My least favourite part is the lack of communal area with sofas as it means we dont get to meet the other flat mates that much as it can make it boring if you do not put yourself out there and go to the SU or invite people to your room. Also, the kitchen is like a cupboard with no oven or hob so I would say equipment and facilities could be better. The rooms are all such a good size and you are given bed side tables, wardrobes, desks and a chair so you do not have to buy too much, The stuff is not very nice in the rooms and the carpet is a really ugly and sticky blue but it does the job. Hoovers are given and the cleaners come in every other week to do bathrooms which is really helpful to be honest. I have an en suite which was really nice when I moved in - despite the yellow floor - the tiles shower and sink look like they are new and they all work very well. The only draw back is you cant drink the bathroom water which is slightly annoying but it doesn't really matter.
