I feel the range of societies is lacking compared to other universities, meaning I have not found a society or activity group that reflects my interests. However, the facilities are very accessible from the halls of residence and the library and additional resources such as the learning environment team are a great help academically.

Sometimes it can be hard to contact the lecturers because there are so few lecturers for the amount of students. However, their subject knowledge, as active or retired nurses, is incredibly helpful as a student. I think getting variety in placements can be hard because there are so many other catchment universities fighting for the same spots (University of Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, BPP, open university).

It was tricky living in halls but this was mainly due to the behaviour of the other residents. The halls were clean and well maintained.
