I've absolutely loved it - it's been tough in parts - zoom music lessons are not ideal, and the whole of second semester being online was very difficult. However, the hours that we have had in person have been amazing - the teaching is fantastic, and access to opportunities is wonderful. We were able to do our final recitals in person, and even now they're over, there are still lots of concerts and performance opportunities within all areas of music.

Student support
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
Student union organises lots of support groups, workshops, etc, but the actual uni support isn't as good as it could be - especially since musicians get injured very easily/ struggle with their mental health disproportionately.
Lecturers and teaching quality
What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
We've been lucky to have more classes in person than other courses, which is so important for creative courses. Lots of 1 to 1 teaching.

The best aspect about College is that It give me the opportunity to get work outside of college by playing with some orchestras. The worst is the schedule that sometimes is not very well balanced.

The best about the course is that they focus a lot on the performance by having a lot of different projects. The worst is that the academic lessons don’t have s lot of content and it could have more

It’s central London and it’s close to everything. Also there is a lot of museums around that we can visit and explore and we have a huge park close to it where it’s a very good place to relax
