Roehampton University has fantastic grounds, where everyone can enjoy lush greens and wildlife (curious squirrels) allowing for a fresh reset between lectures, especially when the weather is sunny. Staff are welcoming and helpful, I have never been turned away or felt ridiculed even if my question or request is a little silly. Facilities are outstanding, even for non-course related. For example, I have been able to enjoy the cinema room in the David Bell building during Society movie screening events, and at the same time use lab equipment during my course work. Lecturers are very helpful and friendly and most importantly approachable. Being able to book one-to-one or group tutorials when studies are challenging is an amazing bonus. The library is an amazing place to both meetup for group work (in the separate rooms) and for individual work in the quiet floor. There are plenty after study options with wide range of societies, and plenty of events throughout semester time too to enjoy, socialise and relax.

I am very happy that most of my lectures are in person, and so are the lab sessions, as this is much easier for me to absorb information, allowing for more hands-on approach. I have been lucky with my timetable as well, leaving plenty of time to travel and self-study. I don't live on campus so for me it is better to have more lectures in one day, with least number of gaps between, to spare travel time.

There are plenty busses that commute to both campuses, unfortunately not one that would take me from my residence, however, I recognise that I live off campus. The closes tube station or train station has to be reached by bus though, as it is too far to walk in my opinion, and the bus service provided by university does not commute as often as regular public transport. The main campus is situated across a major hospital, which can be positive and negative at the same time, as to people that frequent it. The campus grounds can be lovely during the day (especially, the ponds and forest paths, however not as well during dark hours (which can be quite early in winter) as they are not well lit. the Whiteland's campus is close to a large block of flats which can also make it less safe during late hours/when the sun goes down. There are work opportunities on campus as well, however, most other work options will be situated further away in near by towns.
