Excellent, thoroughly recommend to future students. Has helped me incredibly in my life so far. Other students were also very helpful and were communicative in online discussions.

All online facilities were very good: email, forums and a tutor that was easily reachable by phone or email. Otherwise, I could have travelled to Milton Keynes (where the main building is) to use the library and similar facilities.

Tutor feedback was excellent and very standardised, using notation functionality within Microsoft Word etc. Also, a tailored email on what to look out for and how to improve on the percentage score attained. Counselling was there if I needed it, both from my delegated tutor and from specialist bodies within the University if this was required. In addition, extensions could be granted to assignment deadlines if the reasonings behind the request were legitimate. This removed a lot of stress.

Very limited as it was all online, so no face to face meetings or events in regards to student union activities.

Most studies were completely online based, with further face to face study sessions being available within an hours drive of my location. The locations differed between the module I was studying at the time. All locations were always in a large town or city with many local amenities.

Not very varied at all. No extra curricular services offered.

I liked how you could start the next module whenever you felt ready to. In addition, you could choose to study modules simultaneously. I decided to do Business as a second subject, and thus was able to study networking and business at the same time. Very flexible, only thing that wasn't was the deadline date for assignments - all of which had a very reasonable length of time to complete.

My choice to dynamically choose my modules, allowed me to better suit my career path at the time. In addition, services were offered to help place students after receiving the certificate of honours.

Even though we as Open University students study alone the OU has a great student association that works really hard to bring students together virtually and in person

I have scored the work placements low only because some also working full time means I can’t attend the opportunities offered
