Overall I loved my university experience and I have NTU to thanks for that, one of the best aspects from NTU is definitely all the resources provided and activities available: from NTU employability, extra reading, the library and so on to all events the SU organises! Another amazing aspect from NTU is the definitely the sports clubs and societies because there is so many of them and everyone is so open to meet new people! Something that the university could improve would be maybe have more variety in food at least in Clifton campus, and maybe pushing the CERT mentor a bit more for first year (I know from personal experience I missed out on that)

I definitely loved course content and the teachers, I think any online teaching wasn’t beneficial but I also understand COVID left no choice, I think biomed should definitely have more lab experience so we can add it to our portfolios and have more opportunities within the university research, like volunteering to help with research as a temporary part time job.

Nottingham is a great city with a place for everyone and the community is also lovely. Clifton can be a bit far away but the buses help, however maybe 2 buses should come when it’s peak hours

NTU is an amazing university, I always heard of stereotypes that it’s not UoN so it’s never good enough but going ntu , I’ve never had a better year as a first year. The support I had straight away was incomparable, especially on how to write and reference. My lecturers are the nicest people and they go lengths to support you. The ntu team is amazing and campus is great. Timetable is flexible which means I can get my work done. Only thing I would improve is as a Muslim student I would love if more halal food options were available but they have a prayer facility which was amazing to see.

The course best aspects is definitely the content and the lectures. It is really interesting and the tasks we do are really fun. We had a day when we had to present lesson plans and got to make bracelets, paper octopuses and more. The lecturers cannot be compared, they are so caring and understanding and reassuring. Course hours and timetable is the best . Tuesdays and Thursdays have no timetabled hours so that is when I get my work done and it helps massively. I am really enjoying my course. Some bad aspects are that classes can tend to be small around 20-30 people for the whole course but I prefer that since you make friends with everyone.
