NCH is absolutely wonderful. It's tiny – there are currently 150 undergrads – so it's not for everyone, but it's perfect for those who wish to get an incredible education in a beautiful building in Bloomsbury. Weekly 1:1 tutorials; weekly 1:2 or 1:3 tutorials; a range of fascinating lectures; the chance to not only attend the Professoriate lectures, but to go to the pub with these eminent figures. Because it's in its nascency, it is currently quite self-selective: a bunch of people at NCH have ended up at university after working, traveling, or running a business. I've only been here for a term and a half, and already I have made some of my closest friends.

NCH uses the tutorial system, so there's a tonne of work – but if you want to get a great education, there's no better way to be taught.

A bunch of the current third-years (the first cohort; 2012/13) have graduate contracts in top law firms, offers for places on Master's courses at Cambridge, Oxford and the LSE.

Attending NCH was the best choice I could have made. I've enjoyed the courses, the city living, and feel that the career advice I've been given will be invaluable throughout the rest of my life.

The availability of lecture halls, recreational space and rooms for private bookings are totally appropriate for the number of students. However lectures do sometimes have to take place in destinations other than the College.

Tutors are excellent-- can easily be contacted outside of lectures, and offer great support in both written work and academic/career development in frequent hour-long one-to-one tutorials. Personal support is also easy to access, and the College works together with mental health providers, academic tutors etc. to make student experience manageable and calm.

The union is democratically elected, easy to become involved in, and aims to reflect what students genuinely want. They are transparent about planning and budgeting for events and societies. The representation of the student body is excellent. However, as a result of the small size of the College and heavy workload, some society officers have little time to fulfil roles they've committed to.

Perfect for students! London can be expensive but the number of inexpensive nightclubs and free arts and culture events make it a fun and easy place to live as a student. The College's proximity to Soho also means there's a great opportunity to make the most of nightlife and international food.

The College's societies represent many areas of interest, are accessible to all students, and are held to high standards by the SU, e.g. hosting regular events and having a clear leadership.

The small class sizes, frequent tutorials, and seminar-style teaching are all brilliant. Lecturers are happy to be contacted outside of teaching time to discuss the course or your own work. The small class sizes do however mean there is little choice between courses and lecturers.

The NCH diploma has a careers component which focuses on CV and interview skills, financial and digital literacy, and entrepreneurship. The College also encourages and helps students to find internships and jobs in line with specific career goals.
