Been a student of Newcastle University since 2 years now, studying computer science and really like my course. The city has a fabulous nightlife, but since I am not interested in a night-out, I dont really like it much. But if you enjoy going out, Newcastle is the perfect city for you and Newcastle University is a highly reputed institution, so you cant be mistaken.

The location of the uni and the accommodations is perfect and in such good proximity to the city centre. Basically everywhere you would need to go is within walking distance or there are busses available for only £1 for under 21s. The uni itself is very pretty and a lovely piece of architecture in a city centre. The facilities are also great on the business campus which is about a 5/10 minute walk from the main campus yet still fully accommodates you

The course is all in person which is good as it’s more personal in a sense and I find it much easier to engage in an actual lecture hall rather than looking at a computer screen. The course content is interesting yet not too challenging at first which eases you into university learning.

A perfect location for anyone studying a business related course as it is about a 60second walk to all lectures meaning you get to sleep in later and easily pop back to your flat if you only have an hour break in between lectures. It’s also in great proximity to the town centre as you’re very close and able to walk everywhere yet far enough out that at nights it’s quiet and you won’t be disturbed by night life noise
