Loughborough University isn't just a university, it's a home, it's a family! From day one of starting at Loughborough I have felt supported and welcome. Along with this, the level of teaching is amazing! Lecturers have so much knowledge which is well reflected in the lectures. Mental well-being is so valued along with inclusivity. There are no limits in what you can be involved in at Loughborough, from sport to volunteering and student ambassador work to societies for all!

Sports science gives a good balance of contact hours (all in person!) with independent study to work on your further knowledge and gain a great understanding and interest for the course. Facilities for sport related subjects at Loughborough are to the next level, with so many great technologies to find the next, new big things with the sporting industry. Loughborough university pushes for all students to undergo a placement year and support very well in helping achieve this but also show great opportunities to study abroad. The teaching staff are both very knowledgeable and approachable/supportive!

Robert Bakewell is at the heart of Loughborough University campus and so lecture theatres, labs, the union etc aren't ever more than a 15min walk away! The rooms are kept clean with fortnightly cleaners and the kitchens by weekly cleaners. The warden team are so supportive and will always listen to any troubles you may have. With automatic locking block doors, lockable flat doors and then lockable bedroom doors security is really good! Robert Bakewell is a big hall but with so many students it brings a great life and a caring and welcoming community feel. It is quite expensive but with an en suite bathroom, 3/4 size beds and modern, spacious kitchens it's a great hall to live in!

not enough contact hours, rather more teaching hours and less reading as a result. Lots of content is similar to alevel psychology, meaning it can be repetitive. Could make psychology alevel compulsory and then change some of the lectures to not repeat work. lecturer quality is very variable, some a lot more inspiring and engaging than others

this hall needs to be updated soon, many people got it due to the unfair system of allocation - didnt want it. quite old and outdated but felt safe
