I’d say my best experience within uni grounds was the freshers fair in September. There was a lot of stands and there was a ride as well. Honestly it was really fun because i learnt a lot about the city and also about the university. Since I’m not a UK citizen, it gave me a lot of information, and throughout that week as well there were multiple socials and nights out organised by the uni. I don’t have any bad experience so far because i’m really just settling into the UK

The lecturers are genuinely helpful, i don’t have a bad experience with a lecturer so far, they’ve answered all my questions and they’ve given information about the coursework. I guess the only thing I’d say i wish was different was my course times, as much as people like that it’s spread across 4 days, id rather do a 9-5 for 2 days than have multiple classes across 4 days. Even if you’d be exhausted i find it better for me.

I really like that the kitchen and the rooms are very spacious, other accommodations aren’t as spacious and they cost way more. You really get your moneys worth. Even if it’s not that close to L1 or the train station, they’re still walkable distances. There’s a lot of restaurants closeby and there’s a supermarket as well. Though I do wish the gym was more equipped, even if it is considerably equipped I wish there was a bit more stuff.

The campus is beautiful, the amenities are amazing, always a nice place to study, good variety of meal options, lovely staff, supportive teachers and lecturers. Only thing is the Student Union, I was not a big fan of the ‘Pro-life society’ and the idea that there were men that were arguing at a freshers fair on what women, not men, should do with their bodies. I understand the ‘free speech’ argument, but I believe that cannot not apply in a case that shames women and promotes taking away their liberties.

Very interesting, engaging. It is a competitive course, but that is at no fault of the university so nothing really.
