my best aspect of uni is learning to be more independent whilst living away from home. i’d say the worst aspect is how hard it is to live as a student financially.

I’d say to have more contact time with lecturers but i’d say that the communication outside of contact is very quick, if you email a lecture your guaranteed to get a reply within either the same day or the next day, of course if it’s a weekend that varies

i liked the aspect of meeting new people but then some people are very messy and disrespectful towards other people’s belongings/wishes and don’t often tend to keep a clean environment

The uni facilities are modern, clean and well kept. I enjoy working in this environment and the department I work in is friendly and my colleagues, both student and staff are always helpful. Enrolling on to my MPhil course was stressful, there was little, confusing information as my confirmation email for my application submission was sent to my undergraduate address, which was void since I graduated. This meant that I was unaware of any next steps and feel this is something the university admissions team should have been aware about and should have made this experience a less stressful one for me.

I really enjoy my course. I have the freedom to work flexibly and keep my projects in a subject area I’m interested in, allowing me to drive my postgraduate programme in the direction I want.
