I love the staff, the students and the city. I just wish the pandemic hadn’t robbed me of most of my first two years. Hoping my final year will be like it was at the beginning. Liverpool is a great city and Liverpool John Moores is a great uni resort.

The facilities are great though the pandemic has limited use of them. I am really looking forward to the new Liverpool Life Building opening up when restrictions allow.

The student wellbeing team are very approachable and very helpful. The tutors will also do everything they can to support the students. Even the ladies in the coffee shop will lend an ear if you need it!

On normal circumstances, the course is predominantly face to face teaching. Lectures and workshops. Guest speakers. Really good fun and thoroughly enjoyable. During the pandemic the lecturers have done their very best to keep that atmosphere under very difficult circumstances. Circumstances beyond their control. I do not believe any university should be charging full fees for this period, not just LJMU. The extra costs due to the pandemic and lack of access to libraries etc means extra costs for the students. Buying books and supplies that they can normally use for free. My first year was fantastic and affordable however this year I am in debt and have struggled. The tutors have done all they can to help.

We are constantly updated on graduate opportunities and there are sessions to prepare for leaving university. My own course offers various work related modules and constantly encourage us to start making contacts.
