The staff are very friendly and tutors provide insightful one to one support when asked. Because it's a small university they are able to provide support in smaller groups than most. There are many affordable meal options on campus, Including vegetarian and began options. The leganto reading list is incredibly useful, as the tutors upload recommendations for additional reading regularly. Not only are the staff supportive of our academic studies, but in my experience have been sensitive to personal difficulties, and always signpost individuals to appropriate support services. The wellbeing team are usually available within 24 hours for a meeting, and often provide emergency support. The security team on campus saved my life during my second year of university. They are always available through phone call, or in person in the i3 building. Creative campus is beautiful and calderstones park is only a 10 minute walk away, which I visit frequently. The university offer numerous student led societies, and for those who are less sporty, there are clubs such as the environmental, crochet, movie, Taylor swift, gaming societies and many others. Students are encouraged to form their own societies too if there is not one appropriate for them already. An improvement would be to make the user face to access library resources more simple to access, though tutors are very quick to explain and offer advice when requested. Additionally, the library closes at 8 on weekdays, and 5 on weekends which is a shame, though during exam seasons they make the building 24hour. :)

I haven't got any complaints. Tutors always arrive on time, they are kind and understanding of personal challenges, and are accommodating a o students with additional needs such as myself. Tutors ensure to book rooms suitable for the individual's attending the sessions, and offer a positive learning environment where I feel comfortable to share with the group. Due to hope being such a small university, groups are smaller, creating a more comfortable and personal experience. I know all my course members by name and feel safe to help educate others in my peer group. The university Also offers trips away from the university campus, which allows students to get to know each other, which is particularly beneficial in the first year of study.

When our kettle broke they replaced it the same day, and security arrive within minutes when called, I have never felt safer, they are the kindest group of individuals j have ever encountered. The security lodge is less than a two minute walk away, and the halls are warm and offer all the necessary facilities, including a community room on the bottom floor if each building. I had an accessible bedroom in my second year which enabled me to feel safe and able in my flat.
