The uni is really good at helping all the students feel safe and welcome! They have helped with any academic questions I have had really fast thanks to CELT and the course program leaders. Its been a really nice transition from sixthform to uni life.

Whilst it is a very full on course, the university has made the timetable very accessible, they helped when problems were raised with placements straight away. The lectures are really good and engaging, creating interesting lectures.

These halls have been great, up to date enough that you have everything and good space in the room for what you are paying. The kitchen facilities are very good, any problem we have the team respond to really fast 24/7

The teacher resource library where everything that can really support anyone in a teaching degree is available. The available support for assignments like CELT and personal tutors. For the course in particular it is very full on and days where it is lectures all day in the lecture theatre can be quite draining so breaking them up or making them slightly shorter could help prevent congnitive overload.

I enjoy the mixture of online and in class learning. I think the resources available to support this course specifically are brilliant, however, some of the lecturers just talk at you, reading off the PowerPoint and as a result feel less engaged with us as students. I also think sometimes the content can become confusing to navigate whilst doing an assignment where the material being taught doesn’t impact on or support the assignment.

Having an ensuite is super beneficial and 6 per flat is a good number. There is issues with the showers a lot of the time whether it is the direction of spray and temperature, whilst the shower heads all were replaced it immediately started happening again. Some of the appliances in some kitchen spaces are faulty, our microwave breaks if more than 2 items are put in the microwave within a 2 hour period, the kettle leaks when trying to pour and boiling water spills everywhere and has scalded some of us. I think a first aid kit should be available on each floor not just bottom and a smoking area in front of the room is problematic as the smoke rises but also the noise levels at early hours in the morning can be ridiculous.
