I love studying in Leeds as it's in the city centre, everything is accessible and there's lots of things to do associating with the arts such as the museums, Leeds Playhouse and events. Within the arts, there's a lot of crossover between courses so we collaborate often and produce amazing work. This also helps us make new friends with people in different courses and work together on future projects. I haven't had the best experience with the casework team at Leeds Beckett however it's not as a collective. Just certain people who haven't been as understanding and helpful as I'd thought they would be.

We have a lot of theatre space to work with which is essential and beneficial for performance and rehearsal. Tutors are reliable and helpful when booking a tutorial for help or any current issues within class or just for a check-up. Performing arts is a very practical course which requires a lot of in-class time so we are in for at least 15 hours a week and I think that is fair and reasonable considering most work relies on collaboration and full group attendance. As mentioned previously, there's crossover between courses which allows us to branch out and create work with other students and learn other things.

The prices have increased since last year and its barely affordable if not too expensive to live here considering student loan is reduced over the 3 years. The location is perfect as it's a 5 minute walk from uni and everything else.

I really liked my time in Leeds. The international office organised a trip to York, an international party and a Halloween treasure hunt, so they really tried to organise events for us. The only think I regret is that I made only a few British friends, most are internationals.

Everything was organised very well.

The support was fantastic, quick, and well co-ordinated.

I never went to the students union, so I cannot give my opinion about it.

My favourite thing to do in the city is Shopping! And walking around to discover new places. I also liked eating sushi at Wasabi. And the parks are really beautiful to make a walk.

I didn’t join any society, but I went to every Global Café meeting and I really enjoyed that. They organise fun activities where you can practise your English with other international students and locals.

We had workshops for every module, it is the best way to learn your theory.I also liked being in Cloth Hall Court, where all law students were together.

I think Leeds Beckett University stands well on my curriculum vitae. Most employers think exchange programs are a sign of independency.

I was staying in Woodhouse Flats. The building was quite old, you could hear everything below and above your room, which made it difficult to sleep and study, but in general everything else was okay. We had a big kitchen, and all essentials were there. I found it practical that we had a washing machine in our kitchen. The other thing I liked about Woodhouse Flats was that there were so many exchange students in there.
