You can do a variety of subjects on your course, which you may have thought you couldn't. Campus is easy to get to. Meet lots of good people & the lecturers are friendly, well worth it! My best advice for new student is always do your work in time never fall behind with any work as it may then get harder to catch up later

Leeds Beckett University has a really welcoming environment. All of the lecturers and staff members I have interacted with so far have been kind and attentive. Both the Headingley and City Campus are in excellent locations, with great places to eat and drink nearby. There is a vast amount of student support to hand, which can be easily accessed via the Leeds Beckett app or website. Leeds Beckett is an inclusive university and provides excellent opportunities for students to get involved with extra curricular activities alongside their studies. I am looking forward to spending the next two years studying at Leeds Beckett and gaining my degree!

My course is taught using the blended learning approach, which I find very practical. I feel that I get more than enough time having face to face interactions with my lecturers, so that I’m able to ask them any questions or concerns that I might have. I’m also able to do this online via email or video call, which is very convenient and easy to do. My lecturers are all very passionate when teaching the content of my course and they are able to provide me with real life experiences, which is really handy as it helps to support my learning and understanding. I am happy with the amount of seminars and pre-recorded lecturers I have, I feel that it is a really nice balance and there is enough time to complete all work set.

Leeds is an amazing city! I have lived here for 23 years meaning that I have been able to take in everything Leeds has to offer. There are always events taking place within and around the city centre, including concerts, festivals, pop up shops and markets. There is a vast amount of places to eat and drink which serve excellent food and have varying types of aesthetics depending on what you like. The majority of people you meet are always so friendly and welcoming and up for a chat!

I love my halls as they are very modern and stylish. I feel that I’ve definitely got my value for money, as there are lots of places nearby such as, cafes, restaurants and bars which are super easy to travel to.
