Lancaster is a little bubble of wonderfulness. With everything you need in one place, it is a fantastic environment to live, love, learn and grow up! Everyone I met loved their course, their college, their extra curricular activities, their accommodation, and just generally their lives for being here. It's amazing.

Since the library refit and the new sports centre, this rating rocketed to 5. All lectures theatres and seminar rooms are modern, comfortable and up to date. The extra facilities just make the learning experience even better.

Throughout my degree I had a personal tutor who was supportive throughout my academics. For personal issues, you are assigned a college sponsor who will be your guide. On top of this, the employability service really helped me in third year.

I loved our student union so much that I became heavily involved and went on to be in my college Union leadership team. Fantastic support is offered 24/7 by the union and I'm still yet to experience another uni who cares just as much for their students in this way.

This is only a 4 as Lancaster isn't the most renowned as rave city in comparison to somewhere like Newcastle or Manchester, but you grow to love what you have. And by gosh do we love Sugar!

With over 150 on offer you can't knock the availability open to all students. All student led, it's a great way to meet people too.

I took Biology and as we are so high up in the tables for Biological Sciences there was no doubt that my course wouldn't be fantastic. I always had a solid amount of contact time - which I liked as I felt I was getting what I paid for! Lectures and practicals ran hand in hand and we're always exciting and challenging.

Since leaving Lancaster I had four offers for different graduate schemes, and I only applied to five! There's definitely something to say about a Lancaster student.

Lovely accommodation and such a wide choice too. The townhouses are a modern phenomenon and I loved it.

So far so good. Everything is on campus or in town which is made very easy to commute to. The worst part was looking for 2nd year accomodation. As a first year about 3 weeks in it was a bit difficult to determine who to live with etc.

The course is interesting and the lecturers are really helpful. However with the academic tutor there isn't much contact.

I love the atmosphere and the rooms. Kitchen is a bit small for 9 people
