The best experience about the university is the campus and the environment and the facilities for the students. Teachers are really good. A few of them aren't helpful, which makes assignments difficult. Overall everything is good, but they should provide more variety of food in the canteen.

Everything is available in the online material but for my particular subject I couldn’t get much help as I'd email the teacher and they did not respond quickly. Overall the course materials are very good and it’s very informative.

The location is great because the town is nearby and is accessible. The Townhouse is the best with a lot of facilities but they should increase the opening time to 24/7 for more days. I also like the Kingston Hill campus because it is an exciting place and different kind of environment to study and is peaceful and quiet

Seething Wells as a good location as it is close to the river but it doesn’t have any shops nearby as you have to walk little bit. It's away from the city which makes its peaceful and quiet. It is good for new students and it's easy to make new friends. The university bus comes there which is a really good thing. Overall everything was good.

Kingston university has a great vibe! All of the tutors and members of staff are very friendly and supportive, even if you’re not on their specific course! I’ve found it easy to make friends, and the location has helped a lot with this! As being an art student, I’ve been able to frequently visit galleries in London by short train journey - whilst also being able to experience the serene and quiet nature surrounding Kingston and Richmond. I really love that art school and all of the different workshops there are - however the one improvement would be to have our own personal spaces on the course (somewhere we can leave our artwork/ a space to make our own)! It’s been a bit of a struggle have to haul all of my art projects from the uni to my apartment and back - especially during the winter months when it’s rainy and cold, and I know some many other students have found issues with this too. Other than that though, I think the uni is great!

I think the course is very well laid out throughout the week. I have enough time working with teachers and briefs - whilst also having allocated time throughout the week for self study. This means I’m able to get prep finished and prepared for following lessons! We also get to do workshops every week and I’ve learnt some really cool new skills which I’m eager to use in the future! There’s also a session called CHS where we learn about critical issues and history of illustration (and art in general) and this has added an extra dimension of understanding and learning which I’ve been super happy to experience! We’re also set essays - and I’ve actually found this really good to keep my brain ticking!! The lectures/tutors are very nice and helpful, and they have specific working hours and are easy to contact during those! The tutors are also very passionate about their practice and it makes me more enthusiastic and driven to push myself to explore new mediums, techniques, and materials! We also have a short online lesson once a week, allowing students to have a more relaxed and less-pressured day which has also contributed to helping our workload be not too stressful/overbearing.

Unfortunately the halls that I stayed in weren’t that great! The flat and bedroom had quite a few issues - and many of my friends did too. The management team were friendly however things were sorted (if sorted) very slowly and with no manner of importance/emergency. The bedrooms were also extremely small considering their prices - and not in the best location. It was a bit scary being a young girl alone here as the location wasn’t great and the management didn’t survey who exactly was entering the premises, even if they said they did. Unfortunately I can’t recommend staying here.
