Hartpury has a beautiful rural theme that brightens up my day however the classrooms tend to me spread out around the campus and so if the previous class is longer than excepted you always find yourself being late. The staff are extremely supportive and care about your well-being needs and emotions. I’ve found that the well-being team, students union and even the libertarians are extremely helpful. The lecturers at hartpury not only care about your education but also how you manage the workload and information you must remember. They’ve always been a listening ear and never have a problem in having a heart to heart with you. I do wish the vet nursing centre had much more facilities and centres, it’s almost lacklustre compared to the sports and agriculture centres. Vet nursing has a large number of students and so I’d wish we’d receive more funding.

The content in my lectures are informative and cover all aspects in which the RCVS requires. However our lecturers always like to add interesting facts and topics that always refresh my brain from the books I cram it into. I’ve not struggled so far with learning the modules and so I believe the way of teaching is high quality.

The university’s location is a nice break from the high rise city life and feels like a breath a fresh air whenever I arrive on campus. The bus service can be fairly difficult to use. With the buses themselves switching between small singles, double deckers and coaches. There’s been multiple times where I’ve been extremely late for lectures due to not being able to get on a packed bus.
