An excellent University. Wonderful "Harper Spirit" atmosphere. Kind, friendly lecturers who are available to help with your studies when required. Lots of sports and activities to choose from, a great SU bar and Welly Inn on campus to help strike a work-play balance!

The Bamford library is a great place to study. The University is investing in it's infrastructure all the time to provide better facilities for the range of courses they offer. For example they have just opened a veterinary services centre for their new BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy degree students. These facilities are also available for the Student Veterinary Nurses.

An excellent student support service. Study support is available. Harper Adams also provides a free counselling service. For more directed help towards your studies lecturers are available and the course managers are friendly and always offer help and advice (as they know that at times life gets stressful!)

Overall, the events are managed by the SU and they are available for help and assistance if required.

Loads of great pubs and a night club in the University's town, Newport. If you want to plan a bigger night out then Stafford or Birmingham is not too far away!

Loads of clubs and societies on offer such as netball, football, rugby, shooting, equestrian, outdoor pursuits etc! Enables students to meet new people and strike a balance between work and play.

In the first few years of study there is a balance struck between time spent in lectures and time spent in the laboratory, on the university farm etc. Courses are designed to be hands-on and applied. Obviously as you progress through your course you organise the amount of time spent out-in-the-field! This is easily available to all students and via the landskills programme. The nature of your final year dissertation project will determine how much time you spend applying your skills to a real life research project.

Great connections with potential employers via the careers fair and compulsory placement year integrated into the degree programmes. The overall employment rate of graduates who completed full-time first degrees in 2013 is up to 96.2 per cent, postgraduate employment is at 96.61 per cent and graduate salaries have risen across many course areas"

Excellent accommodation (prioritised for first year students) with an amazing laundry and regular cleaning service.

Location is middle of nowhere-difficult if you don't drive to get on and about
