Overall the course in itself is well organised and structured, it's the wellbeing services that need work- mainly in that they need to expand their service provision.

The university is small but there are a range of facilities to accommodate students, ranging from study spaces to social spaces, including newly installed wellbeing spaces which feature quiet pods. However the cleanliness of these varies, especially that of the bathroom facilities which are only cleaned first and last thing during the day.

There is a counselling service available to students which allows students to book walk-in appointments. Along with that we have the SU VP for Education and Welfare who operates an open door policy and is usually available should you need. However, the scope of these services is quite limited. If you need on-going support there aren't the facilities to accommodate that. Furthermore there is little in the way of support for students with disabilities.

Our course is taught via a blend of lectures, small group tutorials (case-based learning, clinical skills tutorials, anatomy prosection) and teaching in the clinical environment (bedside teaching).

The university is a specialist healthcare university with good links to hospitals across London which means that there are great career prospects, usually with the graduate employment rates being in the range of 95-99% each year.

I like St. Geroge's university of london because it has a very close community. People here are always willing to help and they are very friendly. The activities and societies are all good at helping students to bond with each other and make friends with people they normally would not have made friends with. The lecturers are all very approachable and enjoyable to be taught by.
