Best - Facilities. My course is based in the newest building in the uni, Verona Holmes. It’s modern and incredible. The simulation suite is my favourite part as aspects of my course can be simulated to aid my learning before heading out into clinical placement and practicing the skills simulated for real. The location is perfect and near everything a student could need. The library is also absolutely amazing and has every book that I could need/want for my course! Worst - Communication between lecturer and student regarding timetables etc at the start of each year. The same problems arise frequently regarding room organisation and lectures. This can be down to individual lecturers however, the room booking system is a problem university wide. It needs improving. The room allocated for a lecture can impact the way that teaching is given

Hours in placement are long however, this is a requirement of the course. The placements are allocated very well and circumstances of the individual student are taken into consideration before making a decision regarding location. The course is mainly in person, this works very well for us as a cohort and we have fed this back to the lecturing team. It makes a difference from last year. With lectures being online often. Contact with lectures is amazing. I frequently communicate with my PAT and am always met with great advice and am guided into the right direction if further help is required. The staff go above and beyond to make my time/experience at CCCU worth while
