Bournemouth University campus facilities are very good, with lots of study spaces particularly at Talbot campus. The library is very easy to use particularly where the majority of library resources can be accessed online. The BU online library system is so easy to use and advanced searches allow students to find exactly what they are looking for. The buses between Talbot campus and the Lansdowne area are very frequent and fairly cheap making it very easy to travel between the campuses. The variety of societies mean there is something for everyone to enjoy, reflecting the invaluable nature of the students union. Bournemouth University could be improved by increasing the study spaces available at Lansdowne campus. Particularly, there are many areas for group work however it can sometimes be difficult to find an area to work in independently.

The structure of the course is very clear and instruction is provided as to the best way to approach assignments, in line with the assignment briefs. Seminar leads in particular are very approachable and helpful when providing feedback. The lecturers sometimes are not very engaging which causes students to be very demotivated. I only receive 9 hours of teaching time per week.

The halls were good value for money and the rooms and kitchen was clean when I moved in. The halls were safe with card access and gates surrounding the buildings. The roof was leaking which caused issues for myself and my flatmates. Unfortunately this issue was not fixed very quickly. The lifts repeatedly broke which was difficult living on the 11th floor of the building.
