I didn’t realise my accommodation would be so far from my University campus. I feel like there was a lack of communication there, after speaking to other students they also had the same issue. As a result I spend quite a lot on transport which is money I could have used to feed myself every week.

It seems Tutors tend to just read from the slides. Not all though, but when they do it isn’t engaging and the atmosphere in the room is low as people are just on their phones. There’s no point in coming in to university and paying for transport to get there only to listen to someone read from a slide. On the other hand, there are some good facilities that can assist in my learning which i appreciate.

When I first moved in after putting my food in the fridge freezer, It broke down. As a result, my food went bad. Though, they replaced the fridge freezer I my food still went bed and I was not given any compensation for that as it wasn’t my fault. I feel the heater is small and doesn’t warm up my room in the winter but I can manage if i wrap up in layers! The wifi cuts out sometimes which is annoying and can be weak at times. I appreciate the fact that there is security patrolling 24/7 it does make me feel safe. Thank you guys.

The University is very inclusive. It promotes students to take part and be a part of the community. I think the organization with the timetable could be improved. The lectures don't have a great organisation. We will have one on a Monday, then one on a Friday. Why not condense to more lectures on one day and not so spread out.

There are some amazing lecturers who are very engaging! I think some lectures can easily be online, and some vital lectures seem to be online rather than taught in person. But I think this is also personal preference. I would rather sit in a lecture room for an interpersonal lecture than sit on a laptop screen to learn.

It's a good value for money, it has everything such as a gym, laundry, excellent wifi. It's in Handsworth, which is one of the most unsafe areas to possibly live. You can't really leave the campus without a fear of something happening.
