The quality of teaching, and level of support is great. The facilities available, including the library is of a very good standard. The location of the University in central London is convenient.

Well informed lecturer, who know the subjects well. Also very supportive and understanding.

I give this option 1 star as i do not use it.

The teaching at birkbeck is great: academics are clearly passionate about what they do and willing to support students to pursue their interests. They are also understanding that students are balancing work and other commitments outside their studies, which is important. The diversity of the student body is also a great asset to the university. Some facilities feel slightly neglected and underfunded, especially classroom IT facilities, but I’m only based in one building so this may not be representative across campus.
