Despite the overwhelming lectures and assignment deadlines, the international student office has been remarkably supportive as well as the lecturers and staff at the School of Ocean Sciences. The facilities and environment are clean and welcome.

The lectures are renowned and very well-structured for students to engage and learn; A combination of face-to-face lectures, field trips and lab practical works provide nuanced knowledge and skillsets to students. The length of teaching hours can be modified based on the relevance of the topics and considering the other modules' assignments. This will then allow students to be well-prepared and perform better in all modules.

This university has a great environment for students. But, as a asian I found difficulties when faculty isn’t using British English, I mean the accent is different.
