Best experience since I joined Aston is friendly and social aspect of the students and all stuff at Aston. Being an international student, I never felt lonely, lost or regrets for studying abroad. With the help Aston stuff I settled quickly and started focusing on my studies. The location is perfect.I can access Birmingham City Centre within the shortest time possible. In addition the weather and serene surroundings provide fresh and cool air with refreshing effect.

Generally the course mode of delivery is great. There are many options which suits any type of learning strategy depending on the student's preference. Teaching staff are open and willing to help incase we have any challenges concerning the module topics. Teaching hours are well set such that at the end of each lecture one feels energetic and yearns for more lessons. Personally I have not had any worst experience imnmy course or entire learning department.

I secured an oncampus accommodation before I joined. Though I joined late and had delays in my payments, the residential team were understanding and gave me more time to sort them. The amenities are super good. Regardless of one's social, economic or region of origin, the facilities provided are of high quality, easy to use and accessible. Finally, I would rate Aston halls five stars because of their ideal services and high value for money in the facilities they offer.

Great facilities to use, pretty new and easy to get to ( short walk from city centre). In terms of course support and guidance, I feel like it’s very poor. Always feeling very overwhelmed with the amount of work and not being told upcoming exams/important dates until very late or when asking questions, are being told off for asking questions ‘we should already know’ but the reason people ask these questions is because the info that is given, is never clear enough.

Best aspect: Blended approach to teaching, online and on-campus Worse aspect: Very little placement time, only a couple half days here and there if we’re lucky

Super quick walk from city centre which is great. It’s not so great that crime/antisocial behaviour is pretty high since it’s a city!
