There are a variety of places to study however, when it's exam season, places get full up. It would be better to have more places to study for groups and and individual works. All of civil engineering lectures are delivered on campus with safety measures fit for covid. All lecturers are happy to help and are approachable. You can talk to them in person or via email, with quick and speedy replies. They also provide office hours where you can pop in and ask any questions you have. This is very convenient if you don't feel confident speaking up in lectures or if you had an assignment you need help with. Student life is amazing. Only a 10 minute walk away from the city centre, there's no need to use other transport as everything is at your doorstep. It's a lively atmosphere and there's always something to do.

I think it would be better if students had more contact hours with their personal tutors. Meeting up two times a year isn't good enough. It should be more frequent. Or maybe ask the student how many times they would like to meet up. I personally believe it should be at the start and end of each term, but it depends on the student.

Aston University is a 10 minute walk away from the city centre. This is perfect as everything is at your doorstep. There is always something to do for everyone. The city is always busy and lively as there's a variety of things do too!

Everything is beautiful and modern. This is to accommodate for students who prefer a high standard of living with a few more luxuries. Onyx has spacious rooms, and medium sized kitchens. My only concern was that there wasn't enough worktop space in the kitchens. It made sharing the kitchen a little bit harder, especially when a few of your flatmates were cooking at the same time. Onyx has amazing facilities such as a cinema room, common room, games room, gym and rooftop garden. It's great for relaxing with your friends after a busy day at uni. Overall, onyx is a great accommodation for students and I highly recommend going there!

Studying MSc Artificial Intelligence at Aston University (2025-2026) has been an incredible experience! The campus is modern and well-equipped, creating a great learning environment. Student life is outstanding, with vibrant social events, diverse communities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals. One of the standout aspects is the excellent student support—whether it's academic guidance, career services, or mental health resources, Aston truly prioritizes its students' well-being. However, one challenge I faced was connecting with home students. While the university has a wonderfully diverse international community, I expected more interaction with local students to enhance my cultural experience. Perhaps more integrated events or mentorship programs could bridge this gap. Overall, Aston is a fantastic place to study, combining top-tier education with a lively student experience. A few tweaks to enhance local and international student interactions would make it even better!
