The university has an incredible breadth of facilities that are open for any students to use after they have been inducted. The inductions could be run more often as sometimes it is hard to get into one when the spots fill up quickly. All of the tutors and administration are wonderful and helpful. As an international student I have greatly enjoyed my time here, both on undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Would highly recommend to other art students from the US for an arts university in the UK.

All of the MA students are grouped together for some lectures, which is nice as the individual groups are quite small. Then module lectures are done according to each MA subject. Lectures for me were on Wednesdays, and other days were intended to be independent study days. I enjoyed this schedule as it allowed me to use most of my time to focus on my work. The best part of the course is how you are able to tailor it to be exactly what you want.

The facilities seem to be very well equipped and the lecturers are very helpful. The biggest problem I had so far with the uni is the lack of parking spaces for students. And all the car parks around the campus are paid and quite expensive. Could’ve been useful if the university provided some kind of a badge or at least made the students have discounts for some of the car parks

So far the lectures given by the lecturers at the uni are very helpful. I just only wish that they spend more time teaching us the basics for example how to use photoshop. The lecturers now kind of drop that burden onto the other students to explain that to you.
