really like my tutors lack of support for mental health

i know so many people on the course want painting and drawing skill workshops to help improve our practices. as someone who has only started painting this year i feel like i don't have enough knowledge about materials and processes to make high quality, successful artwork

The freedom you get and encouragement on the course to do what you want is amazing. The community around the uni makes you feel welcomed no matter who you are. The student life can be intense however there is more to do than just clubbing. Overall I think AUB is a really good uni and has helped me come out of my shell alot!

The course content is really varied which I love as you get to explore lots of different areas. I do sometimes find that it's hard to get hold of lecturers asking questions. The facilities are great with studios and lots of equipment that's easy to book out. It has been super hard to find an internship with little support on the matter which I find quite disappointing as everything else is great!

I liked the independence however, the halls are riddled with silver fish which don't get sorted. The showers leak constantly as well as lights not working and it takes maintenance weeks to fix. The staff are often quite rude when you have issues which makes the place feel unwelcoming however the younger staff were always super nice and friendly. They don't supply a mop or hoover which makes it hard when living with people you may not get on with and having to clean social spaces. Overall the value you for money Is awful and they are literally just taking students money! FIND BETTER ACCOM DONT GO HERE!
