The classroom can be engaging and the lecturers trying to support you. It can feel lonely sometimes

I love the tight-knit community that is built through the campus university. The university also offers plenty of ways to meet new people and make your way to the surrounding towns and cities through forms of transportation and by encouraging us to be our individuals and encouraging our independence, not only as academic students but as adults in the wider world that we live in. The only negative aspect of my university experience would probably be that I am not always aware of what my student union is organising and there aren't many societies. Still, I understand that societies are down to the students to take the initiative and create societies.

My course is taught mainly in class, but there is encouragement to do work surrounding the lectures before and after each one to solidify and help with our learning. I think it is beneficial to have that structure as it still allows us to have independence in our course but it gives us enough guidance that we get lost and don't know what to do. The lecturers are always available and even if you don't have a lecture with them they tend to respond to emails within a 48-hour window of when you send them an email which helps when you may have questions about your course. As well as that, you can tell that the lecturers are passionate about what they discuss in lectures and their passion makes learning in the course more enjoyable and exciting.

All Saints Court is a great student hall. The bedrooms provide you with enough space to study while also having a shared kitchen allows you to meet and make friends with your flatmates. I think that it is beneficial to stay in these halls, especially if you're moving far from home as having flatmates can provide you with the beginning of the community that you develop around yourself during your time at university. All Saints Court is a great hall when it comes to value for money as well, you're provided with everything you need in your university life and the accommodation officers are available whenever you need any help or have any questions about anything regarding your accommodation. As well as that, if you don't have access to drive a car but need to bring in heavy shopping, it is really easy to get groceries delivered to your halls and it avoids the stress of trying to plan multiple shopping trips or worrying about not being able to carry your shopping.
