A very positive experience- integrated well into university life and have sought to get involved in societies. The course modules (for the most part) have been well organised and have challenged me intellectually.

The SU has improved- it seems that it is now (to an extent) more responsive to student opinion. However I feel that the SU representatives represent only a specific section of the student body and needs to reflect the entire student body.

Varied and look at a wide range of contemporary issues

Reasonably well- a number of events are held (presentations by employees and employment week) which help to give an insight into the skills needed when applying for a job and how the skills gained by studying a course relate to the skills needed in employment. Will be looking to take advantage of such events in my third year.

Swansea university has helped me with a very difficult and life changing decision after I came here. After I had applied for my course and after the start of the academic year I wished to change my course. I was doing business management but I felt like chaining it to law and politics. An associated team helped me change the course within few hours. The staff in the university value everything that any student says and act on it instantly. The accommodations on campus are amazing and the maintenance team is always a call away. The notes and lectures are all uploaded on blackboard (online database used by the university). The whole campus has wi-fi hence I can always access my notes wherever I am. There is a very nice cafe near the pond just outside the campus and has some amazing delicacies. For now swansea is my home away from home.
