Winchester is a really great university if you’re like me and prefer a much smaller place to study and aren’t the most into night clubs but also do like occasionally drinking. The only things is that a lot of people complain about the system in order to get certain types of student support

My course is very suited for me as it has a large practical base and with winchesters building being more modern the simulation space are specifically designed for us. Lots of people on the course do feel that lecturers sometimes aren’t the most supportive, however, I would say mine is great!

The location is great right next to a hospital and a 20 mins walk to the train station or a 5 minute bus if you’re tired. There are just a lot of hills which take some getting used to

The hall was very nice with a larger room than most uni accommodation. However, I got put into a room that was not on my choice range but once phoning up i realised that this was because the other accommodations had a shorter lease which my course went over.

The layout of the university is very nice and there are loads of different places around to study which is very helpful when the library gets busy. All lecturers and tutors reply very quickly to emails in order to help.

Lecturers are very supportive and answer all questions and stay behind to answer questions after lectures for students who are not confident to ask in front of other students which I find very beneficial
