I love being at BIMM. The lecturers are so knowledgeable about everything you need to know, and all have different specialities. The course really prepares you for the real world, and how to leave university confident that you can find work. It's quite a small uni, which is great, as everything is more catered and personalised to you. For example, in my first semester, my class was more advanced than our lecturer had prepared for, that we ended up doing a lot more advanced content already, such as using outboard gear.

Everything is in person, and rarely like a traditional lecture. There is about 15 students per class on average, meaning its a very personalised experience. You can also book tutorials with any lecturer in the uni, so you can get advice, or even learn a completley different musical skill

BIMM University excels when it comes to networking opportunities. All the lecturers are industry professionals which makes for more informative seminars as they target areas that will benefit future careers. Currently, there is more that could be done in regards to establishing a student union, and the appearance of the buildings are quite hidden - it is not immediately obvious that there is a university campus at each location.

The best aspect of the course is how career focused it is. It allows me to establish a portfolio and a good foundation for after university. As for the worst aspect of the course, the university expects students to have access to certain music production software which can prove quite expensive, especially on a student budget.
