World class facilities make the University a home away from home. The University also caters to student’s needs and you will always have a place to turn to and you will never feel alone. This has really helped with managing Culture Shock in Britain. The University has so many clubs and societies it would be amazing if a student didn’t find a place to fit in! And the Library is open 24/7. Imagine that kind of dedication from the University to support students academically! The University has a very supportive Student Union which really goes out there to make students feel looked out for. And this week I met my student Buddy, who is ideally someone I was paired with who can help me learn about the University, the facilities available to me as a student and other itty bits that make Uni life easier for me as an International student. Honestly, Bournemouth University is not what I expected. It is way MORE than I expected! I would honestly suggest this university to anyone who would consider a UK university. And as a bonus, Bournemouth is basically right next to the award winning sea in the South of England. Sure it’s cold now, but can’t wait for when the weather is better! Here’s to more adventure and here’s to Bournemouth Uni!!!

The course hours are just right. The timetable is also crafted in a way that my week isn’t suffocating for me and I get some me time so I can read privately and decompress. The contact hours are also very good. My tutors are very open to having face to face and they are open to listening to suggestions from students, which is fantastic.

Best things are the student wellbeing team. Worst thing is some teachers are hard to understand
