The campus’s are inviting and everyone is friendly! Rooms are all really nice and clean and not too formal. Whether your on city campus or St John’s there’s lots of coffee machines and places to grab some food at a good price! Lecturers are also very understanding if you can’t make it for any reason and care about you getting the best grades possible and are always available by email and don’t mind any questions! The library has excellent services with all the information you could possibly want including a really good archives. There are dedicated student librarians covering different subjects so they are always available via email or in the library to help you find what you want and maybe something different to the guided reading which is more helpful! And there is also lots of parking round city campus in the library car park or the one across the road with super bus routes too or a nice walk across the river instead. The library also has a cafe, WiFi and super facilities so you can be social or study alone. This is the same across all campuses and everyone is always willing to help!!

Most lectures are taught in person and are interactive. Sometimes you do group work or discussions and you can ask questions at any time if you’re unsure and at the end too the lecturer usually stays in case you have any questions you didn’t ask in the lecture. For history we usually do 3/4 days a week but mainly half days so you have time to study or be with your friends! It’s all flexible and timetabling will help if anything clashes with something important or another course you are doing alongside!

I love the culture of Worcester, it is felt within the university. The university really feels like part of the wider Worcester community. As a commuting student, the location of the university can be a bit of challenge to reach.
