Great facilities and opportunities, however no student union and some issues with teaching in some modules.

Hours are reasonable and lecturers easy to communicate with. Some lecturers seem less familiar with modules than others

Fantastic lecturers and community. I feel incredibly supported and because it’s fairly small, I get to really know all the people. Unfortunately, BIMM doesn’t recognise a Union and underpays it’s staff. Most lecturers are freelance so only get paid in term time with no sick pay. Due to this I would not recommend the university. Staff deserve better. Up the unions

Excellent bespoke teaching. The staff really care about the students and work hard. They listen to feedback and actually change modules to improve teaching. But BIMM underpays staff, doesn’t recognise unions, and relies on freelance staff who they do not pay when sick or during school holiday or for prep time. Until BIMM treats it’s staff better I cannot recommend this university.
