The university itself is such a lovely place with it's mix of modern and older architecture and Winchester city centre is very pretty and though it's not that big of a city it feels like a welcoming place. Student support have been very helpful for me, giving me resources to help find a job while at university. The student union is good, running events such as Bop on a Wednesday night but it would be nice if they did more one off style events, e.g. repeats of the silent disco, or themed nights like is done in freshers week.

While there are many elements of my course I really enjoy I believe it is not the best run part of the university. The content is enjoyable and varied, covering various aspects of writing such as fiction, non-fiction, games writing and scriptwriting. As of now we get 12 hours of contact per week, 3 hours per lecture which makes sense given much of the work we do is independent. The biggest issue I've had with the course is the teaching quality. While there are many lecturers who I get on and believe are very capable there are some who are not so great and mostly this is unanimously agreed though any time a report happens nothing seem to come from it. In these lectures I never learn anything or receive any help and this impacted my grades before.

The biggest pro of St Elizabeth's was it's location on campus, making it 15 minutes away from all my lecturers in first year. Beyond that I did not enjoy my time in halls, we had issues with silverfish and ants on my floor, which when we reported there was nothing done about it. St Elizabeth's hall was catered accommodation and it was the cheapest accommodation as the food was paid in with the rent, however the food we were given was not enjoyable. The options were limited with the food in the canteen, and we had issues with people feeling sick or not being able to eat the food. Most of the time the portion sizes did not feel like enough to actually feed someone and it is not something I would recommend.

Interesting lectures and debates...great variety of philosophers and educators to work on which was great, and the campus is lovely and friendly. Great people and atmosphere

Isn't worth money- needs to be better quality and could be larger
