The campus is really leafy and green and feels a very safe place to be. As with all university courses, some lecturers and modules are better than others but on the whole I am enjoying my degree. The social life is great, it feels like there’s something for everyone and lots of opportunities to make friends.

There are a lot of contact hours but I like this as you feel you are getting your moneys worth. The lecturers are on the whole very good and helpful. I like that the lectures are recorded so I don’t miss anything if I’m unwell or if the weather is bad and I can’t get to campus. You get a lot of time in the lab and a lot of time with your tutor. You also get a lot of support classes in the first year.

Campus life is really good and a good way to settle in during first year. The accommodation options are mostly in convenient locations for lectures and socialising. Lots of societies and events to get involved with to meet people etc. sports are also really good here and all abilities are involved.

The topics have been a variety of levels so far with some modules being significantly harder. Nothing I wouldn't expect going in to a physics degree. The workload is quite high but support is always there.

Good quality facilities. Big kitchen. Good location.
