The campus life is lively with so many events constantly going on. Plus both students and staff are hella friendly, will say tho if you like to stay busy then you kinda have to search for things to do most days. Would be nice if the uni made it clearer when/where events are happening.

A lot of the course at the beginning is very figure it out yourself. While the tutors are really supportive it can be frustrating at times when your asking for help and don’t get a straight answer

Getting private halls is nice just sucks how much it costs

The campus is located near the city centre, two parks and a river. It is full of greenery and everything you need is right aroud the corner. It's very international environment. People are welcoming and and open. The library is very well stocked, have some roomms you can rent out, have grafic tablets, printers and scaners to your disposal and is open till late at night.

The teachers are always there to help you when you have a problem and will check up on you from time to time even if you don't have any. The facilities have everything you need to do your work. The grafic tablets in animation building are amazing. You are encouraged to try new things out, new programs, new techniques. There's not many hours of lectures but they are enought for teachers show us new things, and becasuse there's not many lectures' hours you are left with a lot of time to work on your projects, for uni and personal ones. Unfortunatelly my year didn't have any 3d animation but I know it's already changed for new students. I was suppried with sound lessons being a part of the course, but I found it usefull to know the besics of it. I think maybe it could be even better if animation course would colaborate with music course on some projects, instead of animation student producting music for their animations. During the course you will be in a good hands either if you just started animating or you already have some experience. The teachers will start from the besics and if you are feeling like you need something more then they show during lectures, they will provide you more materials and help with your development.

There are a lot of part time jobs opportunites. The cost of living is manageable, you can find accommodation for less than £100 per week in good location. There are a lot of places for nights out as well.
