Finding the best university for business management for you can be tricky, but we’ve done the legwork for you. London School of Economics and Political Science
One of the most well-respected social science universities in the world, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) offers students chance to study at one of the world’s most prestigious universities and live in one of the world’s most popular student cities. The uni was founded in 1895 and boasts one of the world’s largest social science libraries as well as 19 research centres, so students will definitely find that the uni is well-equipped. The location in central London offers students a huge range of choice in their lives outside of class, and the local transport network of buses and trains makes travel across the city and further afield easy.
University of Oxford
One of the UK’s oldest and most prestigious universities, the University of Oxford is internationally respected. Its long and rich history dates back as far as 1096, as evidence of teaching dates back this far. The picturesque city offers plenty of history and culture as well, with several museums in the local area, as well as lots of beautiful architecture. The city is also well-connected, located just over an hour’s train journey from London.

University of St Andrews
St Andrews is located in a small Scottish town with a lot of history. If you’re interested in history, then a good place to start is the uni itself, as it was founded in 1413, making it one of the world’s older universities. As well as offering a lot of history, the uni also has famous alumni including Benjamin Franklin, JM Barrie, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Students of St Andrews can take advantage of living near the coast as well as having all the amenities the town has to offer. In the town, students can explore museums, a botanic garden and an aquarium and of course the local bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés.

Cardiff University
Cardiff University is known for being vibrant and diverse, with over 20,000 students representing over 100 different nationalities. Students at the uni have access to good transport connections via Cardiff Station, as well as everything else the capital city has to offer. You’ll find loads of bars, pubs and clubs to entertain you at night, as well as museums, galleries and cinemas to keep you busy on the days you don’t have classes. Cardiff is also a fairly small city, so you won’t have to worry about finding what you need within walking distance.

Queen's University Belfast
One of the top 30 universities according to Complete University Guide’s 2026 league tables, Queen’s University Belfast is a well-respected and renowned institution. The uni is close to the centre of Belfast, Northern Ireland’s capital city. The town centre is compact, so students can explore by foot or on bike with ease, though there’s also the option of using the city’s strong local transport network. Around the city, students can benefit from lots of lively nightlife, entertainment and culture, and spots of natural beauty such as Giant’s Causeway are only a short distance from the city.
