Aberystwyth University won this year's WUSCA for halls and student accommodation.
“Fantastic halls of residence, very new when I stayed but very cheap in comparison to a rival university. Very clean on arrival, lots of great additions such as on suites and dishwashers.” – Student review on Whatuni

What to look out for in halls and student accommodation at uni
This is a big consideration for students after choice of course, and the largest single item of a student’s budget. Good quality, comfortable and well-run accommodation can make all the different to adjusting to living away from home and your day-to-day comfort. Consider location (on- or off-campus), distance from your lectures (and how much your travel costs might be), supermarkets and local entertainment spots. Most unis will offer the choice of ensuite and shared bathroom facilities. Look out for helpful residential assistants, the quality of the Wi-Fi and whether there are social spaces where you can make friends and hang out.
