Once option if you miss your grades or want to change the course you've been offered is to apply to other occupational therapy courses through Clearing. The Clearing process is a system available for use by any potential student without an unconditional offer, or those who want to change the degree programme they've been offered.

Of course, the Clearing process is extremely busy and tends to work on a first come, first served basis. With this in mind, doing some research BEFORE you get your results will put you at an advantage if you end up looking for a place. We'd recommend looking at the occupational therapy courses available in Clearing and coming up with a shortlist.

By the time it gets to results day, you should have drawn up a shortlist of potential courses you can turn to if things do go as planned on the big day. Hopefully you won’t need to consult this list, but should your grades be lower than expected, it's always helpful to have. While all your peers are still making decisions as to where they might like to study, you can get a head-start ringing round the unis.
