Leeds Beckett has two amazing spacious libraries, which are amazing to study and socialise in. I thoroughly enjoy classes on campus as that gives you the opportunity to meet more people on my course. - I enjoy spending time at the student union meeting other people who are also at Leeds Beckett uni. I think there could be more opportunities with socials/societies to have a more engaging experience with other students in other years and on other courses. Oher than that it is a great place to come to university.

I thoroughly enjoy the modules, I find it very interesting to learn about the history of the police and prisons and how they have developed over time. My course is taught half online and in person, the lectures are online and are recorded so can go back any time to consolidate the content. Seminars are on campus and are a mix of class discussions and activities to engage with the other students and with the seminar tutors. The lecturers are very easy to contact and have a quick response rate - so it is always quick and efficient to have questions answered.

I liked my first year university halls as it gave me the chance to be properly independent for the first time after moving out. My flatmates studied other courses- and it was really nice to get to know a new range of people with varying life aspirations. The rent instalments fell under when the student loan arrived in my account- so it was never a struggle. All the bills were inclusive with the rent and it was a reasonable priced package for the duration of the first year. The security at my halls was very good, ensuring everyone's safety and happiness as best they could so always felt safe and at ease. However, maintenance did have to come and replace/fix lightbulbs and washing machines once or twice over the duration of me living there- but nothing too bad at all.
