Postgraduate Anthropology Courses
What is Anthropology? Subject overview with study options
Anthropology interprets how societies are formed and why people go about their lives in a particular way. Most courses will require you to do fieldwork, usually in the form of a group research project, and many will allow you to specialise in either social and cultural anthropology or biological anthropology.
Public sector roles, such as working for a charity or as a community development worker, are popular among graduates, though other options include working as a journalist, librarian or human resource officer.
