£600 million is being invested in ground-breaking learning and research facilities, including:
£50 million campus-based Crown Place student residences.
£13.8 millionrefurbishment of the Guild of Students
£23 million Central Teaching Laboratories (CTL) which won ‘Best Facilities’ at the Guardian University Awards;
£70 million state-of-the-art Apex Building for the Institute of Infection and Global Health;
£10 million investment in Veterinary Science facilities
£32 million investment in teaching facilities in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
£5 million development of the Management School’s Brett Building
Open Days are a great way to see what we can offer you. On the day, there are talks covering many aspects of university life including finance and accommodation. There's also guided tours of the campus regularly throughout the day, and the Central Exhibition where you can pick up a prospectus and brochures about various aspects of the University. Staff and Student Ambassadors will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

If you’re leaving home for the first time, don’t worry, the Accommodation Office team will make sure you have everything you need to feel right at home.
Our Halls of Residence are on three sites: Carnatic and Greenbank Student Villages and the campus. Each residence has access to a range of recreational amenities and is within easy travelling distance of the city. Visit our Accommodation website for all the information.
Fees and finance
We charge £9,000 for all eligible undergraduate programmes. You won’t have to pay tuition fees up front, and cover the cost of your tuition with a loan. You will need to repay your loan only starting the April after leaving the university when you start to earn more than £21,000 a year.
