International opportunities
At UEL we encourage and support students to broaden their horizons by taking part in opportunities to study and visit countries all over the world, for initiatives that support their studies. Students can benefit from:

• Going Global Bursary – students can apply for funding to undertake short overseas travel periods as part of your course, similar to a field-trip
• Free language classes - students can study modern languages alongside their undergraduate degree each semester for free 
• Erasmus - students can apply to study or work one or two semesters abroad at one of our partner institutions across Europe

Campuses
We have made extensive investments in our campuses over the past few years to provide students with an exciting, modern environment to study in. Students benefit from:

• 24/7 libraries at all campuses; September 2013 will also see the opening of the new £14.7million Stratford Library
• SportsDock, opened in March 2012, offers students and the general public a world class sporting facility, used as Team USA’s High Performance Training Centre for the London 2012 Olympics
• Student Village, providing stunning waterfront accommodation for 1,200 students at our Docklands Campus
• University Square Stratford, a joint venture with Birkbeck (University of London) providing a new campus in the heart of Stratford for UEL’s School of Law and Social Sciences, The Institute of Performing Arts and Dance and our MBA provision

Employability
UEL’s courses have a strong focus on employability. We work with employers to ensure teaching is relevant and current to what is happening in each sector, preparing students to enter the work place as soon as they graduate. We have a dedicated Employability and Enterprise Team  who offer students invaluable work experience opportunities.
