The University of Bedfordshire has 24,000 students from more than 100 countries world-wide, and is spread across five campuses:
Putteridge Bury campus
Buckinghamshire campus in Aylesbury
UCMK, Milton Keynescampus
Bedfordshire has been rated a number one university for improving the student experience and a top 25 university for personal development (National Students Survey 2014).
What do students think?
Adele Marie Cook, English Studies BA Hons
My advice to anyone thinking of studying here would be that it will be hard work, but it is a fantastic experience.
Angelo Karvelas, Marketing BA Hons
My course is a mix of theory and vocational skills. As well as being great academics, my lecturers bring extensive experience from the marketing industry.
Emily Knott, Broadcast Journalism BA Hons
The University has opened many doors and opportunities for the future. I have many contacts and will have already been published in a magazine before I have graduated which is amazing.
The University of Bedfordshire Students’ Union, Beds SU, offers more than 50 cultural, religious, arts and sport-based societies, so there really is something for everyone. Beds SU will help you settle into your exciting new life starting with Freshers’ Week; packed full of exciting events and get-togethers to make your student experience truly memorable. It also provides welfare advice and support.
Bedfordshire has a great reputation for sports, and there is a wide range on offer including badminton, basketball etc. However, if you’re more comfortable watching from the sidelines, then you can cheer on the Bedfordshire Bulls teams. Read more.

The University of Bedfordshire places a strong focus on entrepreneurship and not just employability so that we can create the kind of graduates that organisations compete to employ. This is seen in the number of professional accreditations that many of our courses carry, and through the success of our graduates; with 92% in work and/or further study within six months of graduating (DLHE 2014).
The University has 10 research institutes carrying out ‘world-leading’ and ‘internationally excellent’ research and was awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education 2013 for its pioneering research.
