From its origins as a School of Medicine and Surgery in 1834, Newcastle University today offers a first-class student experience in the heart of Britain’s number one student city.

Internationally, Newcastle University is the first UK university to offer medical degrees in-country at our NUMed Malaysia campus. Newcastle also has an educational partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technology offering degrees in naval architecture.
